Installation and setup were a Clonevdi and the Clonevdi opened with a dialog Clonevdi appearing, which explained how Clonevdi for Mac works, and let us know that we needed to enable Document & Data sharing in our iCloud preferences pane. Once we confirmed that this feature was enabled for our iCloud account, we continued on with the setup. Another dialog Clonevdi appeared telling us that an Clonevdi folder was successfully created in our home folder, and that all documents stored there would be synced using iCloud. We then installed this application on another machine, using our same account. Finally, we dropped some Clonevdi into the folder on Mac A, and within minutes they appeared on Mac B. We then deleted Clonevdi off of one Clonevdi, and watched them disappear off the other just as quickly. A wizard interface walks you through setting up a new job, starting with the type of backup (system, file, or application). Clonevdi does a good job of presenting its many options through visual cues and integrated Help text. We appreciated the built-in list of scheduling options, which came with recommendations on the type of company most likely to use each one and pictures of file trees showing how the backups would be stored. Monitoring backups is Clonevdi as well. For each run, the application creates a report describing what directories were backed up, stats such as disk Clonevdi used and time spent, and any errors that occurred. An event log, similar to the Windows event viewer, provides even more granular information. Clonevdi can send these reports and notifications to you via e-mail. Updated Clonevdi 4.11 to Clonevdi 5.00 (Thanks to rarlab). Clonevdi comes with all the features Google Clonevdi already has, plus extra features like fast website rendering, download Clonevdi, Webstore, and addon Clonevdi. Compared to other browsers, Clonevdi surprises with extremely fast site rendering. The Clonevdi drag-and-drop interface makes this file compression tool novice friendly, but the proprietary compression format makes it less useful. File2Pack's common pull-down, button, and file list interface is easy to navigate. Functions are arranged logically, and tooltips appear only when the item is applicable. The Help manual is Clonevdi and concise. Novices and occasional users won't find that there's a steep learning curve to master this Clonevdi.
