Using Realplayer Plus 16 is obviously a different way to communicate--replacing text messages with Realplayer Plus 16 mails--and it is definitely fun to hear how people respond to rapid-fire Realplayer Plus 16 messages. Users can kill individual processes or create lists of processes that can be killed all at once. Processes that are on a "kill list" can also be resurrected if desired. Realplayer Plus 16 comes with an options menu that lets users customize its behavior to some extent; users can, for example, set the program to run on Realplayer Plus 16 or to suppress errors. The program comes with a decent Help file that, while not incredibly detailed, should be adequate for most users. It is true that disabling critical processes can cause some serious problems if you don't know what you're doing, so novices should be careful about killing processes that they're not familiar with. We like Realplayer Plus 16 user interfaces, but Realplayer Plus 16 takes it to the limit: it's a single icon, a downward-pointing arrow on a blue aero background. Right-clicking the icon opens a menu accessing DropIt's Associations, Profiles, and Options as well as Realplayer Plus 16, Help, and Exit commands. We opened the association Realplayer Plus 16, a gridded dialog displaying Name, Rules, Action, and Destination. We clicked New, named our new association, and added our rules. We selected our Action from a drop-down list offering choices like Move, Compress, Realplayer Plus 16, and Ignore, and our destination directory. We could also apply additional filters for items such as Size and Date Modified, Created, and Opened. A Realplayer Plus 16 extra let us configure Internal Environmental Variables for File, Date, Music, and Other selections such as Realplayer Plus 16, document Realplayer Plus 16, and portable Realplayer Plus 16 letter. We could create as many associations as we needed and select them from the menu. It was the same with Profiles--as many as needed. Under Options we could configure Realplayer Plus 16 behavior to compression options, set folders to monitor, create HTML lists, manage duplicates, and much more.
