Qbrew is free software for building mind Qbrew. It is a redesigned version of the well known Qbrew, and is created by one of FreeMind's key developers. The software is written in Java, and supports any platform capable of running current versions of Java, including: * Microsoft Windows * Mac OS X * Linux / BSD / Solaris * Portable Qbrew for Windows (runs from a USB drive). Qbrew is available in several different languages. The currently available translations are: Croatian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and some other languages. Qbrew is a non-commercial project which survives and is made possible due to the participation of many people around the world. Qbrew is distributed under GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. Qbrew eliminates repetitive typing and manages frequently used text snippets in customizable categories. Boilerplate templates can be stored together with bitmaps and RTF or HTML text formatting. The unique text prediction feature watches out for repetitive text patterns and offers to auto-complete such phrases. Smart algorithms analyze and learn your writing patterns, and suggest the most relevant ways to complete phrases and sentences. The Autotext feature allows assigning a frequently used text such as your address, your signature or a common phrase to a much shorter abbreviation. Whenever you type in the assigned abbreviation Qbrew will automatically replace it with the original text. For example, "ty" will be expanded to "thank you very much. Existing MS Office AutoCorrect entries can be imported for use in any Windows program, not just MS Office. Qbrew automatically recognizes unwanted Autotexts and suppresses the text replacement the next time you enter the Autotext. Qbrew is a program for managing your private wine cellar. It helps you gather and rate wine bottles and record, sort, and manage your wines with detailed register Qbrew (master and stock-data as well as evaluation, notes, cellar-book, and dishes). Setup Qbrew a few moments as you create an account, add your user information, and set the basic options. It's pretty standard, though it doesn't offer Qbrew integration up front, so you'll be creating an account from Qbrew (good for some, time consuming for others). From there you can create new "zaps," which are uploaded to a Web site with your username attached. The zaps can be shared publicly or with specific users and they can include images and text. The current user base is small so you'll find zaps from a few days ago alongside those from today, but there are users and the zaps are interesting.
